Day 1

Arrive in Zagreb

Welcome to Croatia! Your journey starts in the beautiful city of Zagreb! You’ll be picked up by your Tour Leader and transferred to the hotel. Check-in. Afterwards, enjoy a panoramic city orientation tour to get a glimpse of this vibrant capital! In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant paired with a folklore performance. Overnight in Zagreb.

Oct 02

Zagreb

After breakfast, embark on a private walking tour, diving into the city’s rich culture. Visit the openair markets in Dolac to stock up on souvenirs and taste the fabulous cuisine that Croatia has to offer! A visit to the marketplace isn’t just for photos—you’ll gather fresh ingredients to create a Croatian lunch yourself. Enjoy tastings of local delicacies and a light lunch before spending a free afternoon exploring the city’s museums, parks, and charming streets.

Day 3
Oct 03

Plitvice Lake National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a last wander around Zagreb before we set off for our next destination: the Plitvice National Park. This collection of lakes and pools provides some of Croatia's most spectacular natural scenery. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey, or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the number of minerals, organisms in the water, and the angle of sunlight. We’ll walk around the upper and lower lakes, explore small bays under the pine trees, and feel at one with nature. Visit to the park and then stay overnight in the area of the National Park, getting to know how the rural area of Croatia lives. Lunch on the way. Proceed to the hotel for check-in and evening at leisure.

Day 4
Oct 04

Zadar – Trogir - Split

After breakfast, the journey carries onto Zadar, an ancient city which dates back to the Roman Empire. See the Roman and early medieval remains of city fortifications. Head to the seaside to see the incredible Zadar' Sea Organ'. An excellent collaboration of humankind and the elements, this 230-foot concrete structure harnesses the energy of the winds and waters of the Adriatic Sea to create random but soothing and harmonized notes. After, we'll better understand Dalmatia's spirit as we visit 'Etnoland Dalmati' Etnoland Dalmati is a unique combination of culture, tradition and history. Take a tour of the village, and get to know how the Dalmatian people used to live, their culture, traditions and values. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties, such as veal, cooked under an iron bell! Enjoy a quick and exciting tour of Trogir, another of Croatia's many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in the afternoon. Its unique Romanesque and Renaissance architecture will blow you away!

Day 5

Split

It’s time to explore Split, the vibrant town known as the soul of Dalmatia. We'll visit its most iconic sights on a walking tour – marvel at the roman structures, still standing and centuries old! Explore the historical Diocletian Palace with its cellars (featured in the last two seasons of the Game of Thrones), the Peristyle square, and its own intact Egyptian sphinx. Split is a town filled with history and stunning historic buildings – after the waking tour, take free time for lunch and some time off. Afterwards, we'll visit the nearby village of Klis, home to an ancient fortress - a medieval stronghold featured in 'Game of Thrones' as the ancient city of Mereen! Watch the sunset over the bay from the hilltop fortress while enjoying an open-air picnic.

Day 6

Hvar Island

After breakfast at the hotel, it is off to Hvar Island by local ferry, one of the most beautiful islands in the world known as the island of sun and lavender. Up in the mountains in June, lavender will be already painting the landscapes with its violet flowers. We’ll embark on a panoramic tour of the island. Explore a castle of Hvar, visit the oldest theatre in Europe and taste spectacular wine at an award-winning vineyard. Nature is mind-blowing, and before seeing Hvar you cannot say that you have seen true Croatia. If there is heaven on Earth, it must be Hvar! Check in to hotel and embrace the island's magic.

Hvar Island - Day at Leisure

After breakfast the day is yours!   Free day to enjoy the island: swimming, beach time or cycling, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, and so much more that this island has to offer. 

In the afternoon, we will take you for wine tasting and enjoy a typical Traditional dinner in Konoba. Konoba means a restaurant in the coastal area of Croatia - with a traditional interior and local delicacies. Drink the local wine while listening to the sounds of local music.

Day 8

Mostar to Dubrovnik

After breakfast the group checks out of the hotel and starts our journey towards Dubrovnik.  On the way to our final destination, Dubrovnik, we’ll stop in Mostar – the majestic city of bridges and arches, where you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back into another century. See the incredible bridge that linked the two sides of the city. Experience a traditional Bosnian coffee tasting, and learn about the coffee culture of Bosnia as you sip coffee and taste Bosnian Delight. After a delicious lunch and some time for shopping and exploring, we will continue to Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik

Full day to explore the fantastic and historic Dubrovnik and discover its iconic places such as the stunning Franciscan monastery and Onofrio's fountains; marvel at the Orlando Column and the St. Blaise Church. Dive into the allure of Dubrovnik, famed for its roles in Game of Thrones and Star Wars. Explore its stunning architecture and Old Town walls with a local guide.h. Lunch in a restaurant with a spectacular view of the Old Town. In the afternoon free time for shopping, museum, coffee, a swim and then a panoramic boat ride to get to see the city walls for the sea.

Dubrovnik

Enjoy a free day for personal exploration and last-minute shopping. In the evening, we'll get together for a traditional Croatian farewell dinner to reminisce about the memories you've just created! Farewell dinner where you'll enjoy some authentic delicacies, local music, dances, and renowned Croatian hospitality.

This morning after breakfast there is time to finish up any last minute packing or souvenir hunting.  You wll be transferred to the airport to begin your journey home.  Unless of course you have arranged to do an optional tour extension.
